TRANET Africa holds bilateral talks with Urgent Action Fund- Africa
Mr. Ekakoro Fredrick Etoori with Ms. Connie Nawaigo On Wednesday the 17 th May 2017, the coordinator of Transformative leaders Network-Africa (TRANET) Mr. Ekakoro Fredrick Etoori hosted the Strategic Programmes Manager Urgent Action Fund-Africa at the TRANET Secretariat in Ntinda, Kampala. UAF-Africa is a pan-African, feminist and rapid response Fund that provides financial and technical resources to women’s rights organizations and activists across Africa who identify and respond to opportunities that advance and protect women’s human rights. During the meeting, Ms. Connie Nawaigo gave an overview of their organization’s activities and mode of operations. Connie who is on a working visit to Uganda intends to identify institutions and individuals for possible strategic partnerships and funding.
