THE FORGOTTEN VOICE,"PROFESSOR GEORGE WILLIAM KAKOMA".
A man who has pumped sense into the minds of all.
A man who has reduced flow of words from the self praisers,
A witty of wine
Kakoma
If only could death have doors, windows, even holes,
Our great grandies should contribute not only through manure provision and spiritual furthering but whisper in hearts and dreams that men are, were, will always be equalled in death
At 23years by then when he composed the anthem
The age today many,is the age of feeding self, body idling, hosting of recognitions for dust on the nation and a praise to self by some that scientificially, mathematically failed to evidence.
Kakoma's are a legacy,a reminder,a touch of agony to how the nation's owners are and have been forgotten in the face of their children's children.
If at 89,
Those who toiled, sweated, shed blood, reserved concentration of mind to think of the nation and rest in shadows of what a house should be while others are graduating filthy with guaranteed parking boots, artillery and emptying not only human but also nature in the baptism of investment, privatization.
only gods and silence in wilderness shall bear witness of how life after us shall be a lament, shame, and torture
For gluttonous,self-centered,are in consistent revision for national competition to top in ruin.
Basima Ogenze(Singer chameleon's lyrics)
Indeed praises,when one is gone.
If only history repeats itself,
Then it shall through the remains of those history actors ignored,
In future shall meddle to the top for affirmations to the effects of the former.
Honoring those before us are surely the work of the living power,
Ironically, may be why others reward self as 'ssabbalwanyi' for are convinced how history actors of that time may reward themselves medals of demonstrations at kololo independence ground, parade in Vx8 vehicles, over 20 convoy motors, pay self 100billion when fathers to the nation are forced to close sight angrily in hunger while wearing rags.
Kakoma,
you did not involve self praise
yet you had the privilege to do so,
Just like his Excellency Mr Sankara whom history finds mysterious to emulate for he led as head of state but was among the poorest citizens in his time and country
kakoma,
You did not praise your name in the anthem of Uganda like the way others are doing by gluing wishfully as if they are foundation stones of the nation
The song if thought about, then would spark flash backs of facial smiles on how the national citizens were gold.
Today,it's a regret to see people raise their hands when being sang in her honor.
A song,if heard today by those who contributed to it's national, international recognition to the whole is in pain, pitying in anguish.
Anthem to the nation's lovers, that when heard, brings the strength of uprooting evils from holy,
A song, that reminds others wish to have in their praise,
Finds embarrassing to even have words arranging in tone names of those who shed blood, sacrificed their penny, for continuity of the nation Uganda.
Only God,time,we survive to see life in reality,
Shall make us learn that honesty was not portioned for some,
Although many have silently gone by the responsibility of reminding souls, to mind of life after today .....?
Kakoma,
May your soul rest in eternal peace.
Poem in recognition of, the composer of the Uganda national Anthem, professor George William kakoma.
